Mein Twitter

The Rise and Fall of Twitter: "At the risk of offending some of you, I am posting this parody video created by Crunchgear’s Nicholas Deleon and his brother Gabriel. Just remember, it’s not about Hitler. It’s about Twitter."

---Very funny! Interestingly, John Biggs makes it a point to say, "It's about Twitter", but as I watched it (while laughing) I wondered if it was more of a commentary on the Twitter user, or more accurately, the heavily addicted Twitter user.

BTW: The origionl title of this parody is "Twitter is down again, Mein Führer"

Not only is this one of the coolest head adornments I've seen in a long time...It might just be one of the cleverest as well. That is, if it is, as I suspect, a reference to the verbose, yet compelling film starring Tom Hanks and "wilson": Castaway.
And if it isn't...a fine piece of work nonetheless.

Infectious Car Art

My buddy Tim Roberts just launched his new Car art/decal site. It looks great! Their main product focuses on bigger art for cars, but I'm sure that his decals would look great on bikes and other forms of transportation as well. The about section is very cool.

Infectious Car Art | About: "It all began with a gorgeous ass...

It was a warm Spring 2000 and I was sharing an apartment in San Francisco's Mission District with Mike, my old college buddy. Mike owned a beat-up old white Honda Civic Hatchback that looked just like the million other boring ass white hatchbacks out there. One day he decided that he wanted to have a donkey painted on it."

Here is and example if the kind of stuff you can get from his site:

Lifestraw Named World-Changing Idea : TreeHugger

Lifestraw Named World-Changing Idea : TreeHugger: "Lifestraw, the portable drinking filtration system, nabbed the top honor in the fifth Saatchi & Saatchi Award for World Changing Ideas last Thursday. Worn around the neck and used like a regular straw, Lifestraw claims to filter 99.9999 percent of bacteria and 98.7 percent of viruses using a halogen-based resin."

--A beautifully simple idea with potentially massive positive impact.
